Returning from Vacation, Do You Need to Use a Facial Mask Regularly?


The body and mind certainly feel fresher after the holidays. However, travel during the holidays may cause blazing sun and different weather to cause unexpected effects, such as dull face. So, do you need to use masks regularly to restore facial skin condition after the holidays?

What happens to facial skin during the holidays?
Before arriving at the vacation spot, you will spend hours in an air-conditioned vehicle. Cold air from the air conditioner does provide comfort, but exposure for 2 hours is enough to make your skin dry.

Use the right mask after the holidays
The mask that you need after the holidays is a mask that can moisturize and brighten the skin. This mask must also contain ingredients that are able to provide nutrition for facial skin.

Here are some types of masks that you can try:
1. Avocado mask, yogurt, and honey
Avocados can restore moisture and are rich in healthy fats, vitamins and antioxidants. Yogurt contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) to exfoliate dead skin cell layers. Meanwhile, honey provides additional moisture.


Just mix half an avocado, one tablespoon of yogurt, and one teaspoon of honey. Use a fork to even out the texture. After that, apply to the face and leave for 15 minutes until the skin feels more supple.

2. Strawberry, yogurt and honey masks
You can use this one mask to brighten the skin after the holidays. Because, strawberries are rich in vitamin C and various antioxidants that can help brighten the skin. Yogurt and honey also contain nutrients that are needed for facial skin to recover.


To make it, puree three large strawberries with 1 teaspoon of raw honey and 1 tablespoon of yogurt. After mixing evenly, apply the mask to your facial skin. Let stand for 20 minutes, then rinse.

Holidays do provide many benefits for physical and emotional health. However, the activities you do during the holidays can also affect the health of facial skin.

One way to restore the condition of the face after the holidays is to regularly use a mask. No need to go far into the treatment program, you can start by making your own mask using ingredients that are easily found at home.
